Overcoming Alcohol and Drugs

You Don’t Want to be the Death of the Party

1 in 5 college students has harmful drug/alcohol habits. Elaine’s inspiring and soul-baring story of addiction is as educational as it is entertaining. Her many years as a highly functional addict only added to her denial and delayed seeking the help she needed to conquer her dependence on drugs and alcohol. “They say alcoholism runs in families; in mine it RAN the family!” Elaine discusses treatment, resources, and moderation techniques to help students stay focused on school. Students will be able to identify, ask questions, raise their awareness, and leave with proven techniques for a clean and sober lifestyle.
